Accelerometer-based Hand Gesture Controlled Robot Car Using Arduino

By: Manisha Kumari.
Publisher: New Delhi Journals Pub 2019Edition: Vol.5(2), Jul-Dec.Description: 1-8p.Subject(s): EXTC EngineeringOnline resources: Click here In: International journals of power electronics controllers and convertersSummary: This paper introduces a gesture controlled user interface (GCUI) template and discusses software, application and usability patterns. It provides an integrated approach to real-time detections, gesture-based information that control the movement of vehicles, and user gesture manipulation using hand movements. Adaptation is a three-axis accelerometer. The accelerometer also moves accordingly as the person moves his hand. The movement is accelerometer-captured and gesture-processed. Today, communications between human beings are moving away from mouse and pen and are becoming ubiquitous and consistent with the physical world. The distance between computers and humans is growing with the introduction of new technologies, the standard of living becomes simple with each passing day. It has future range for advanced robotic arms that can be easily controlled by hand gesture only, shaped like the human hand itself. It has also suggested building utility, medical science, hazardous waste disposal, and much more.
